Change of Address
Documents Required for Address Change or Registration – Foreign Nationals
- Original and a certified copy of your foreign identity document (issued by your country of origin).
- Valid temporary residence permit.
- Proof of residential or company address (e.g., utility bill or first page of bank statement).
- If the utility bill is not in your name, the account holder must provide an affidavit confirming that you reside at the listed address. This must include the utility bill and a copy of the account holder’s ID.
- If you reside in an informal settlement, you must provide a letter from the ward councillor confirming your address. The letter must have an official date stamp.
- For company vehicles: Certificate of Incorporation or Name Change as issued under the Companies Act, or a Founding Statement.
- Completed NCP form – Notification of Change of Address or Particulars of Owner (required for both South African citizens and foreign nationals).
- Completed ANR form – Notice in Respect of Traffic Register Number (required only for foreign nationals).
- Signed affidavit.
